Gary L. Kobayashi, M.D.

Internal Medicine

Dr. Kobayashi has been practicing Internal Medicine here at Cassidy Medical Group since 1988. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1985. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a Member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Kobayashi is currently on active staff at Tri-City Medical Center, where he has also served as Chief, Division of Internal Medicine (1993-1994), and Chairman, Department of Medicine (1994-1995).

Dr. Kobayashi also earned his Bachelor of

Science from U.C.L.A. where he graduated with Departmental Highest Honors, and was awarded the Dunn Award for Excellence in biochemistry. He was Intern of the Year, 1985-1986, at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, where he also completed his Residency in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kobayashi plays classical piano, rock guitar, and enjoys building, landscaping, basketball, and golf.
