Lynette Asselin, D.O.
Pediatrics
Dr. Asselin has been a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties as a Pediatrician since 1998. She currently maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Orange County Osteopathic Medical Association. She has been practicing here at Cassidy Medical Group since August of 1998.
Dr. Asselin earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 1995 and completed her Pediatric Residency in 1998 at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Asselin received multiple awards of recognition; Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, 1993; Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society, 1992-1995 & Lifetime Member; Linda Rawski Award for Scholastic Achievement, 1995.
In addition to her awards, she has various clinical experiences of note; she was a Research Assistant at the University of California, Irvine, Department of Psychiatry, 1989-1990; Research Assistant at the Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, CA, 1990;
She also participated at the Continuity Clinic at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center where she routinely saw patients ranging from well child care to patients with multiple diagnoses and chronic medical problems.
Dr. Asselin is happily married with a daughter and a son. Some of her personal interests include tennis, snow skiing, water skiing, jet skiing, and the theater.
